Blade Runner / Charles Knode
The collection of original pre-production designs for many of the principal
characters including Deckard (for Dustin Hoffman eventually played by
Harrison Ford) Tyrell (proposed for Klaus Kinski but eventually played by
Joe Turkel), Rachel (Sean Young), Zhora (initially proposed for Grace
Jones, but eventually played by Joanne Cassidy) and others. Each 19 x 24
inch. (12)

The drawings include initial concepts for Deckards trench coat and
Rachels coat, which comprise part of this collection.

Blade Runner / Charles Knode
The BAFTA award winning collection of original costume designs for the
principal characters of the film Blade Runner comprising nineteen pencil
sketches and design variations for Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), Rachel
(Sean Young) Pris (Daryl Hannah), Bryant (M. Emmet Walsh) , Leon
(Brion James) and Tyrell (Joe Turkel). Three designs are colour washed and
all are signed by Charles Knode. Each approx. 19 x 24 inch. (some

Blade Runner / Charles Knode
The collection of original designs for extras appearing in Blade Runner
including Rain Police, bar girls and street girls, together with hairstyles and
hats for extras, all signed by Charles Knode. Each 19 x 24 inch. (9)

Ridley Scott's almost obsessive eye for detail is renowned. He was
adamant each extra in Blade Runner would look different in some way
hence the creation of elaborate hair styles and head gear, the concepts
for some of which are included in these designs.

Blade Runner / Sean Young
The elaborate fur and blue silk brocade layered calf-length coat worn by
Rachel (Sean Young) in scene ten of Blade Runner, featuring a fur trimmed
circular stand-up collar, the sleeves trimmed with fur skirting, lined in black
silk. Designed by Charles Knode.
Estimate £ 2,500-3,500
Rachel wears this coat when she goes to Deckard's apartment after her
Voight-Kampff test where he tells her she is a replicant.
Sale 28028 Lot 107
Blade Runner / Sean Young
A black silk and snake skin two-piece couture suit comprising a waisted
hip-length jacket with padding to shoulders, collars and cuffs trimmed with
black snake skin, additional snake skin relief to breast and five button
closure together with corresponding knee length skirt, worn by Sean Young
as Rachel and also worn by Young during the promotion of the film in
London. Designed by Charles Knode. (2)

Rachel wears this suit in Tyrells office where Deckard gives her the
Voight-Kampff test. The suits worn by Sean Young in Bladerunner were
to inspire the 'power dressing' of the 1980's.

Blade Runner / Sean Young
A beige and grey silk and gold threaded two-piece couture suit comprising a
belted jacket with chevron design, padded shoulders and covered button
fastening, together with a matching grey and gold threaded pencil skirt.
Worn by Rachel (Sean Young) in the opening ten minutes of the cult film.

Rachel is seen wearing this suit when she and Deckard go back to his
apartment after Rachel has shot Leon, saving Deckard's life.

The russet coloured shot cotton trenchcoat worn by Rick Deckard
(Harrison Ford) in the cult film comprising a full length single breasted design
with strap fastening to cuffs and collar and patch pockets. Designed by
Charles Knode.

The trenchcoat synonymous with Deckard features throughout the film.
